Liz Nehdi designs offer a spectacular expression of bold, invigorating colours, hypnotic patterns and gestural, painterly prints that are layered with meaning. These are complemented by the finest craftsmanship and luxurious textiles to create playful, distinctive and soulful accessories with an artistic heritage. Our brand aims to introduce a way of life that celebrates fun, creative expression, optimism, and the beautiful complexities of the global village in which we all live. Liz Nehdi Studio was founded in 2014 by Liz & Karim Morgan Nehdi.

The inaugural Spring/Summer 2015 collection of scarves and pocket squares draws from Liz’s inspirations as a painter, interpreting and distilling creative traditions from around the globe – from abstract expressionism, art naïf and aboriginal dot paintings to graffiti, Berber patterns, and psychedelia.

ABOUT LIZ NEHDI

Liz Nehdi is an American artist and designer based in London. She was born near Washington DC in 1982 and grew up in Bethesda MD. She studied at Miss Porter's School (USA), Dartmouth College (USA) and the University of the Arts London (UK) - Chelsea College of Art & Design and Central Saint Martins - and holds received a BA in Studio Art with Honors and an MA in Textile Design with Distinction.

Liz travels extensively and has lived in the United States, United Kingdom, France and Singapore.

Liz Nehdi Studio Launches Inaugural SS15 Collection at Wolf & Badger Notting Hill, 5 March 2015

There has been a whirlwind of activity at Liz Nehdi Studio over the past few weeks, culminating in the unveiling of our Spring/Summer 2015 collection at our launch party hosted by Wolf & Badger Notting Hill earlier this month!

The launch was a resounding success with over 100 party guests joining us to celebrate the launch of the LNS Naïve Expressionism collection of scarves and pocket squares. Music, merriment and mesmerising colours, what more could we ask for?

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and made the night so special, and for those of you who were unable to make it you can still get a little taste of the LNS party spirit by scrolling through the event photos whilst sipping on a LNS signature cocktail!

With a little help from our friends at Sipsmith® Independent Spirits and Mancino® Vermouth we created two delicious sparkling cocktails inspired by Liz herself – introducing the Fizz Nehdi and the Liz Royale!  See the recipes below to recreate these indulgent drinks.

FIZZ NEHDI
15ml Sipsmith® Sloe Gin 2013
15ml Mancino® Vermouth Rosso Amaranto
70ml Prosecco
Fresh Blueberries
Lemon Twist

LIZ ROYALE
15ml Sipsmith® Damson Vodka 2013
80ml Rosé Sparkling
Fresh Raspberries
Fresh Mint

Simply muddle the fruit with the liqueur at the bottom of a champagne flute, then top with bubbly and finish off with a garnish of mint or a lemon twist. Enjoy!

I’m headed to California in a few days and the packing has begun. We’ll probably have at least one glitzy night out in LA, so I’ve got metallics on the brain. I’m currently loving the insouciance of pairing something glittery and glam with something casual and sporty, like the t-shirt and sequined trousers combo in the upper left of the collage. How do you take your metallics?
