Liz Nehdi designs offer a spectacular expression of bold, invigorating colours, hypnotic patterns and gestural, painterly prints that are layered with meaning. These are complemented by the finest craftsmanship and luxurious textiles to create playful, distinctive and soulful accessories with an artistic heritage. Our brand aims to introduce a way of life that celebrates fun, creative expression, optimism, and the beautiful complexities of the global village in which we all live. Liz Nehdi Studio was founded in 2014 by Liz & Karim Morgan Nehdi.

The inaugural Spring/Summer 2015 collection of scarves and pocket squares draws from Liz’s inspirations as a painter, interpreting and distilling creative traditions from around the globe – from abstract expressionism, art naïf and aboriginal dot paintings to graffiti, Berber patterns, and psychedelia.

We are accepting wholesale orders for Spring/Summer 2015 through 14 November 2014. Please email liz@liznehdi.com for more information.

Spring Look #3: Saturday Around Town

Liz Nehdi

So the weather in London right now won’t let me wear this outfit, but after months of bundling up in my winter coat, I so wish I could wear this outfit RIGHT. THIS. VERY. MOMENT!

You probably know how much I love pink and I am majorly lusting after this Gucci skirt right now, as well as this sophisticated gray suede bomber jacket. A simple and sleek short-sleeved white cashmere sweater is a perfect understated layer that won’t compete with our selection of accessories with plenty of personality and colour, including our best-selling Saint-Remy cashmere blend scarf.

This is the perfect outfit for a leisurely Saturday spent strolling around town – whether you’re off to brunch with your girlfriends, braving the crowds to soak up the sight of cherry blossom trees in full bloom or up to a smidge of shopping to round out your spring wardrobe. Where would you wear this outfit?

Milan Fashion Week in Prints

Liz Nehdi

Liz Nehdi's Top Picks from Milan Fashion Week

Before we gear up for the last chapter of the Autumn/Winter 2014 women’s wear shows in Paris, let’s take a quick look at some of my top printed looks from Milan.

A/W colour palettes tend to be more muted than their Spring/Summer companions, and this generally held true in Milan. Prada, Pucci and Missoni brought us some fabulous pops of brilliant colour though.

My eyes were drawn to two very different types of prints in these shows, and both represent big trends for the coming seasons: strong, graphical and geometric forms, as well as more painterly, mottled and soft abstract patterns.

Which type of print are you more inclined to wear: geometrics or painterly prints? It’s too hard for me to decide; I’ll go with both ;)

Milan Fashion Week Preview

Liz Nehdi

Milan Fashion Week begins today. What am I looking forward to seeing? Lots of gorgeous prints, of course!

My love for several Italian fashion houses runs deep. Pucci has been a big influence on me for several years now. Cavalli, Marni, Etro and Prada also turn out amazing patterned clothes. And of course there are the iconic Missoni multicolour chevron knits. But there are also some younger brands, such as Stella Jean and MSGM, who are doing really exciting things, in my opinion. I can’t wait to see how the shows play out!

For a wealth of information on Milan Fashion Week, check out the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana website.

What’s your favourite look here?
