Liz Nehdi designs offer a spectacular expression of bold, invigorating colours, hypnotic patterns and gestural, painterly prints that are layered with meaning. These are complemented by the finest craftsmanship and luxurious textiles to create playful, distinctive and soulful accessories with an artistic heritage. Our brand aims to introduce a way of life that celebrates fun, creative expression, optimism, and the beautiful complexities of the global village in which we all live. Liz Nehdi Studio was founded in 2014 by Liz & Karim Morgan Nehdi.

The inaugural Spring/Summer 2015 collection of scarves and pocket squares draws from Liz’s inspirations as a painter, interpreting and distilling creative traditions from around the globe – from abstract expressionism, art naïf and aboriginal dot paintings to graffiti, Berber patterns, and psychedelia.

We are accepting wholesale orders for Spring/Summer 2015 through 14 November 2014. Please email liz@liznehdi.com for more information.

We at Liz Nehdi Studio love old things: friendships, wine, and our favourite vintage coat to name a few. However, there is something beguiling about all things new during this stage of a London winter. As the sun begins to linger a bit longer in the sky, thoughts turn to the future and new ways of seeing, doing, and being. We hope you enjoy these fresh finds to help close out the final chapter of winter and gear up for the return of warmer days.

A New Way To Return Art To The Classrooms

Jose de Diego Middle School in the Miami neighborhood of Wynwood is literally surrounded by art galleries and museums—and is without an art curriculum to speak of. This winter, 73 world-renowned street artists participated in tagging the exterior of the school as a part of the RAW project, an initiative to raise arts awareness and funds in order to return art eduction programs to the school's deserving students. For more information see this Huffington Post article, which includes a video of the project and information on how to donate.

A New Way Of Going To The Casinos

A lovely treat when flying on a clear night is an aerial view of a city as one's plane begins its descent. Now imagine hovering over 8,700+ feet above Las Vegas and stepping out of the side of a helicopter fastened only by a (hopefully secure) harness to obtain a better view. Such is the setup for photographer Vincent Laforet's Air, a series of aerial photos taken using camera techniques that render urban enclaves as toys illuminated, as if the entire Bellagio Casino could fit into your trouser pocket alongside your winnings. It is a gamble that pays.

A New Way To Eat Your Potatoes

We hesitate to recommend Wormwood restaurant, a Notting Hill spot that has been around several months and plays with the flavor profiles of Moroccan, Lebanese, Spanish, and Greek cuisines amongst others. After all, who wants to compete with even more customers for a coveted reservation? But with accolades such as this recent praise of the lobster couscous dish, it is safe to say that the proverbial cat is out of the bag. Chef Rabah Ourrad, former Algerian rapper turned Parisian gastronomy grad who cut his culinary teeth at London institutions Sketch and The Ledbury, is audacious enough to create such dishes as Poulpo, a Ratte potatoes emulsion with pink grapefruit and garlic paprika butter. The results are purely unique—and purely delicious.

A New Way To Celebrate LNS

We cannot hide the fact that we are thrilled to be included alongside such fine sartorial talent at Wolf & Badger's Notting Hill location — so much so that we created an outfit board using only items that can be found at Wolf & Badger — in celebration of our official launch party there on Thursday 5 March. We provide the music and bubbly, you provide the killer dance moves. For details and to RSVP, click here

A New Way To Shed A Light On Nature

Artists Friedrich van Schoor and Tarek Mawad light up the night in their artistic interpretation of a bioluminescent forest. This breathtaking video emphasizes the subtleties of a living, breathing ecosystem, all without any post-production special effects. For more information on how it was done, visit the project's website.

A New Remix From A Brand New Album

All We Are's debut self-titled album has only been in circulation for a few weeks and the polished, mellow vibe of their single, "Keep Me Alive", has already been punched up by this Lxury remix. May it help you to get through any workweek doldrums.

A New Way To Shop

We ladies at LNS have been known to shop for blazers in the boys' clothing section of stores and believe that sometimes a cologne is better than a perfume and to this we believe that no second glance should be given. So what to do with the categorization of fashion by gender? Abolish it, says Selfridges. Beginning this March 12th throughout April, Selfridges launches the Agender project, a space where all are welcome to shop without the stigma of a gendered label standing in the way. Articles from Comme des Garcons, Meadham Kirchhoff, and Gareth Pugh are all to be included as well as a collection from footwear label Underground.
