I don’t have any kiddos of my own just yet, but I love bright colours and a playful aesthetic, so I find myself being drawn to kid’s clothes from time to time. Problem is, a lot of what’s out there in the realm of children’s wear is just too twee, as the Brits would say. Here’s a sampling of some of the brands that are doing it just right in my opinion: looks that are fun, playful and sometimes a little bit irreverent.

Pinterest is probably my favourite social media site. It’s a playground for those of us who love visuals. While my studio is still filled with lots of old school images on paper, Pinterest allows me to exponentially expand the reach of my mood boards and inspiration sources.

I want to thank those of you who are already following me on Pinterest; this weekend I cracked more than 7,000 followers! And if you aren’t already following me, join the pinning party!
